During this 3-hour tour you will learn Montenegro’s history from the water and gain a first-hand appreciation of the close connection the people have with the sea.
Enjoy panoramic views of Kotor Bay with its quaint fishing villages, medieval churches and more nestled at the base of sheer cliffs. Take a few minutes to visit Our Lady of the Rocks church, a small Roman Catholic building erected on an artificial island created over centuries by local fisherman who laid a rock in the bay after each successful voyage.
Journey over to Tivat Bay where you can admire the mega yachts and pretty coves dotting the coastline. Herceg Novi Bay will romance you with its Byzantine and oriental architectural styles. It is also home to Mamula, an uninhabited islet dominated by a former Austro-Hungarian fortress and where we’ll also make a quick stop at an ex-submarine military base.
While in Herceg Novi, you have the chance to take a refreshing dip in the iconic Blue Cave. Accessible only by boat, this cave is so named due to the way the light hits the bottom and makes the whole cave look blue.
Throughout the tour you will be provided with cold water, comfortable seat cushions and a tent for sun protection.
